Sua Beatitude o Patriarca João X presidiu a Divina Liturgia na Igreja da Santa Cruz, localizada em Qassa, Damasco, em 1 de outubro de 2023.
Ele foi acompanhado pelo Metropolita de São Paulo e todo o Brasil, Dom Damascino (Mansour), juntamente com os Bispos Romanus (Hannat), Moses (Khouri), John (Batach), Arsanius (Dahdal), Moses (Khasi) e um grupo de sacerdotes e diáconos.
No seu sermão, Dom Damaskinos enfatizou a importância da santidade na vida dos cristãos, usando a canonização dos padres Nicola e Habib Khashi como exemplos de santidade para todas as famílias.
O Patriarca encorajou todos a participarem do caminho de santificação das famílias no Oriente e na diáspora.
No fim da missa solene, Sua Beatitude, o Patriarca João X, deu as boas-vindas ao Dom Damaskinos Mansour em sua casa Damasco.

دمشق، ١ تشرين الأول ٢٠٢٣
أقام البطريرك يوحنا العاشر القداس الإلهي في كنيسة الصليب المقدس في القصاع. عاون غبطته مطران ساو باولو وسائر البرازيل دمسكينوس (منصور) والأساقفة: رومانوس (الحناة)، موسى (الخوري)، يوحنا (بطش)، أرسانيوس (دحدل) وموسى (الخصي) ولفيف من الكهنة والشمامسة.
عبّر المطران دمسكينوس، في عظته، عن أهمية القداسة في حياة الإنسان المسيحي متطرقاً لموضوع إعلان قداسة الأبوين نقولا وحبيب خشة كنموذجَين حييَن معاصرَين لقداسة العائلة كلها. وعلى هذا الرجاء دعى صاحب السيادة للعمل على مشروع تقديس عائلاتنا في الشرق وبلاد الإنتشار.
في ختام القداس الإلهي رحّب غبطة البطريرك بصاحب السيادة دمسكينوس بحضوره بين أهله في دمشق.
His Beatitude Holds the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Holy Cross in Al-Qasaa

His Beatitude Patriarch John held a divine liturgy in the Church of the Holy Cross in Al-Qasaa. His Beatitude was assisted by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of São Paulo and all of Brazil, Damaskinos (Mansour), and their Graces, Bishops: Romanos (al-Hannat), Moussa (Al-Khoury), Ioannis (Batach), Arsanios (Dahdal), Moses (al-Khosi), as well as several priests and deacons.
In his sermon, His Eminence Damaskinos expressed the importance of holiness in the life of a Christian and touched on the issue of declaring the sainthood of the fathers Nicholas and Habib Khasha as living contemporary models of the holiness of the entire family. In hope, His Eminence called for work on a project to sanctify our families in the East and the countries of the diaspora.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, His Beatitude the Patriarch welcomed His Eminence Damaskinos’ presence among his family in Damascus.
